When using the term ongoing course, I am referring to the 12 week courses that run each term.

or offer a part refund at our discretion.

‍Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once the course has started.
Places are not transferable between classes as all lessons are usually full. This applies whether due to illness or taking a holiday.

If you have any queries about any of the above please get in touch.

Health And Safety

Participants in classes use the studio at their own risk and should be aware of the inherent risks involved. These include risks of breathing silica dust, exposure to high temperature kilns, possible exposure to toxic materials and using sharp tools.

Cleaning

In order to support a clean working environment I ask that you keep surfaces clean of clay and glazes and to use a wet sponge to mop up any dust or spillages, including the floor around where you are working. Dust is one of the most dangerous aspects of the studio so it is crucial to minimise its causes.

Any cloths that are used to roll out clay should be rinsed and hung to dry. Tools and wheels should all be washed after use. If using a wheel when throwing you should allow at least 15 minutes in order to clean up properly before the end of the class.

When using the glazes please replace the lids immediately after use and put back in the storage shelves under the work surfaces. Wipe any spillages with a damp sponge.
Please keep the sink area clear of debris, as the system can block easily, and return all pottery tools clean to their rightful place.

I much appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep the studio clean and tidy and a good place to work in!
