Weekend and Weekly Courses

Weekday Courses

Due to Covid I have had to change my ongoing ceramics courses. They now run for 6 week blocks and are two hours and a half hours long. I clean thoroughly between each class. Participants get a chance to re enrol at the end of each term. When anything becomes available I post on the newsletter. Currently there are spaces on the new Wednesday morning class. Classes are small and friendly limited to 6 participants so everyone gets a bit of individual attention. A wide range of glazes and clays are available. Cost is £180 for the six weeks with clay sold separately by the bag including firing and glazing Times Monday Evenings 700pm to 930pm Tuesday Morning 915am to 1145am Tuesday Afternoon 1230pm to 3pm Tuesday Evening 7pm to 930pm
New Wednesday morning 10am to 1230pm Wednesday Evening 7pm to 930pm Thursday Evening 7pm to 930pm Please note that when you sign up for the ongoing courses you are committing to be there for the term. Classes cannot be transferred to other days to make up for times when you cannot attend. I also cannot issue refunds once the course has started.

Weekend Course - Throwing

The throwing classes are open to all levels and are a great way to make big improvements on your wheel ability. There are six wheels so spaces are limited and plenty of individual attention is guaranteed. The classes run throughout the year usually once a month. Times are from 1030am to 430pm and cost is £95 for a one day course. There is a £4 per kg charge for pieces that you wish to keep and get fired.

Weekend Course - Raku Firing

The raku process is fast and exciting. There is something very satisfying about seeing the glazes melt and the kiln opening with glowing bright orange pots then covering with leaves and sawdust. In the raku day classes you bring your own pieces to be fired. Times 1030am to 430pm cost for the day £100. Limited to six participants
